Below is a video giving you a more in-depth look at how the process works on the CPC Document. The process is flexible and adapts to your product development requirements. The document is designed to compliment the online Product Development Management system (database) which is faster, more accurate, captures more detail and offers a lot more services.
The document can process your product development from concept to artwork, however, this is intended to be the exception, rather than the norm. As the previous videos explain, the initial sourcing and data capture is done on the CPC document. The objective is to streamline any parts of your product development process that can eat up time and resources.
The Product Data Management (PDM) system (or database) is hosted on the cloud and has not been brought into this discussion, as the business concept is clearly shown on the CPC Document. The PDM system replicates the process but better!! of course…
