3rd party certificates or endorsements

Bill of Materials (BoM)

The Bill of Materials offers a detailed breakdown of the materials and quantities required to construct the product, including everything up to point-of-sale packaging. It ensures that all supporting documentation accurately represents the complete product. In addition to aiding compliance and quality assurance, the BoM serves future purposes, such as tracking packaging waste for billing. Overall, it demonstrates effective product management and control throughout the development process.

Declaration of Conformity (DoC)

Although typically voluntary in this product category, CERT mandates that all products include a signed DoC. The document serves as a “first line of defense” alongside testing substantiation, indicating adherence to quality practices and robust control over product development. This self-declaration simply confirms that the product complies with relevant regulations, including REACH, CLP, Biocides Directive (if applicable), Detergent Regulation (if applicable), and the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR).
